This truffle pizza is a delicious combination of sweet and savory! Juicy pears, creamy ricotta, pecorino, honey, and fresh black truffles take our best pizza dough to the next level.

Ingredients:
1/2 recipe handmade pizza dough (one 15-ounce dough ball)
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 pear, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 cup whole milk ricotta
1/2 cup grated Pecorino Romano
2 Tbsp grated fresh black truffle
1 Tbsp honey

How to make:
✔️ Place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven and preheat.
✔️ When the oven is ready, generously flour a pizza peel and set aside.
✔️ On a floured surface, roll the center of the dough ball into a large disk. Place on the prepared pizza peel and press into a circle. Shake the peel to make sure the dough is not sticking; add more flour if it is.
✔️ Brush the dough with olive oil. Arrange the pear slices evenly over the surface. Sprinkle with ricotta cheese and top with pecorino. Place the pizza on the steel and bake for 5 minutes. Turn the grill to high and bake for 2 to 4 minutes, or until the crust is bubbly and charred in spots.
✔️ Remove the pizza from the oven, top with truffle and drizzle with honey. Sprinkle with ground pepper.

Slice and serve!

The average salinity of the Baltic is only 8%, which is not enough for oysters to live.
