About the event
Oyster Fest 2026, hosted by Finlandia Caviar, is a full-day celebration of oysters, champagne, caviar, and culinary excitement — held in a 150-year-old vaulted cellar in Helsinki. The event hosts the Official Finnish Oyster Opening Championship 2026, where competitors battle for precision and speed. Gold and silver medalists earn the right to represent Finland at the European Oyster Opening Championship. The program also includes a fun amateur challenge and an oyster eating contest, evaluated by a dedicated jury.
Guests can enjoy a tasting set of 6 oysters and a set of 6 different caviars — oysters opened to order and caviar presented throughout the day — alongside lobster rolls with truffle, caviar cake, a curated selection of champagnes and wines, and exclusive luxury raffles, all accompanied by a live DJ.
