Terms of Delivery

Delivery costs

  • When picking up the product from Finlandia Caviar shop no delivery cost is added.
  • Mikäli asiakas haluaa tilauksen lähetettävän matkahuollon kautta, lähetystavasta aiheutuvat kulut lisätään hintaan.
  • Webshop calculates delivery costs automatically. Delivery cost consists of packing material, shipping, special thermal box with correct amount of TempFlex gel ice to guarantee correct product temperature while shipping. Thermal box and gel ice are easily reusable for future transportation.
  • Finlandia Caviar uses TNT for it's deliveries. Gift cards are delivered to the customer for free.
  • Delivery costs are visible separately while ordering. Products are shipped to the client, lower tax rates apply in final pricing(transport costs are counted as a part of foodstuffs price)

Delivery time

  • Orders must be made at least two full days before the pick-up or desired delivery date.
  • Orders are processed as they come. Orders are sent out latest the following week Mon-Wed. To erase the risk of logistic problems, we do not ship on Thursday and Friday.

  • Desired pick up or delivery date has to be stated by the client while making the order in the ''Additional information'' text box.
  • Finlandia Caviar delivers products in Finland and most of Europe. All of our shipments are handled by TNT. Gift cards can be sned to the customer electronically and used at desired date(max. 1 year after issuing)

Returns

  • Customer is able to cancel the order until it has been handled to the courier. In this case, please contact the shop by phone +358105817810 or e-mail info@finlandiacaviar.fi
  • Because of the nature of the product, common 14 days return policy does not apply. Please contact the shop should a problem arise.

Deliveries damaged due transportation

  • When receiving the parcel, please inspect the outside and the products inside. In case something is broken, immediately demand that a notification is made to the courier document. It is highly recommended to open the parcel and inspect the goods before signing off the courier.
  • Inform possible damages, issues with delivery or/and it's quality or other arising problems to Finlandia Caviar as fast as you notice them to info@finlandiacaviar.fi. We will investigate in to the matter and provide reasonable solution.

1. Registration

1.1. Order can be completed with or without a registration.
 
With first registration customer has to:
a) Register as customer in Finlandia Caviar's webshop by informing name and other required information.
b) Give persmission to Finlandia Caviar to register information into a webshop database to fullfil orders. Customer information is confidential, Finlandia Caviar will never release the information to a third party.

1.2- Understand that the webshop is ment for personal and business customers, not retailers. Retailers can contact Finlandia Caviar directly.

1.3. Must be attentive when filling information and navigating through the webshop.

2. Order validity

2.1. Communication between the involved parties take place by e-mail(info@finlandiacaviar.fi), phone (+0105817810) or letters(Eteläranta 20, 00130 Helsinki). After placing an order, customer commits to follow his/hers e-mail to receive order validification and shipping information.
2.2. Binding contract of sale is applied when Finlandia Caviar has send out order validification to the customer.
2.3. Customer has the right by either e-mail or phone to cancel the order before it has been shipped out.
2.4. After customer has placed an order Finlandia Caviar can not change or modificate cotract of sale

3. Prices

3.1. Valid prices include tax, which are on Finland Caviar's webshop. Valid Price is in Euro (EUR). Finlandia Caviar holds all rights to alternate the prices.

3.2. Products with delivery have delivery fees added to them.

3.3. All product weight and price are constant.

4. Delivery

4.1. Orders must be made at least two full days before the pick-up or desired delivery date.

4.2. Products ment for pick-up are available at Finlandia Caviar's shop at Eteläranta 20, 00130 Helsinki. Product pick-up times are same as shop's opening hours. Order has to be placed at least two full days before desired date.

4.3. Finlandia Caviar delivers products to Finland and most of Europe. All deliveries are handled by TNT. There are some locations with limitations, in this case we will inform the customer in advance.

4.4 When the parcel is dispatched (from Helsinki) customer will receive a tracking number to follow the delivery at www.tnt.com

4.5 When the parcel arrives to the destination, notification e-mail is sent to the customer. The customer is contacted by a TNT delivery to agree on the delivery time.

4.6 Products logistics and safety has been tested. We guarantee that the products are delivered to the customer in desired condition.

4.7 Gift cards can be delivered to the gift recipient on the desired date.
 

5. Terms of payment

5.1. Payment takes place by following methods:

a) Immediate pay by online bank service using www.paytrail.com

Paytrail provides a large number of payment methods.

When buying from an online store that uses Paytrail's payment service, you can pay using your preferred payment method: online bank payment, credit or debit cards, invoice and installment, or Paytrail account. Each online store selects which payment methods they choose to offer their customers, so available payment methods may differ.

b) PayPal

6. Consumer complaint

6.1. In the situation the customer has received the wrong product, or the product is damaged, must the customer contact Finlandia Caviar immediately by either e-mail info@finlandiacaviar.fi or phone +358105817810-

7. Ylivoimainen este (Force majeure)

7.1. Finlandia Caviar is not responsible of the shipment being late or delivery not occuring all together in cases which are out of Finlandia Caviar's control. These cases include examples, but not all like war, natural disaster, import and/or export ban, decision of governement authority, problems in transportation company or any other issue which makes it impossible for Finlandia Caviar to deliver the products.

8. Resolving arising conflicts

10.1. Conflicts and disagreements are resolved by the use of finnish laws.
